Get your nights back.
You didn't open a restaurant to do data entry at midnight. Humdine handles the back office so you can run service and go home.
Money in, money out
Invoices & bills
Snap a photo or forward the email. The Coworker reads the vendor, totals, and line items — and flags duplicates before they're paid twice.
Purchase orders & receiving
Create and approve POs, then receive against them — full or partial. The Coworker watches stock and last-price-paid, catches overcharges at the door, and drafts reorders before you run out.
Checks & payments
Print checks one at a time or a batch at a time, pay vendor invoices, and carry vendor credits against what you owe. Writing checks and recording payments are operator-level, so nothing goes out without the right sign-off.
Reports
Know exactly where the money's going. Ask the Coworker for AP aging, vendor spend, or category spend — rolled up across every location, drilled down to any invoice.
Operations
Inventory & counts
Track par levels per location. Stock updates automatically when orders are received; physical and spot-counts keep it honest.
Procedures & routines
Opening, prep, and closing routines assigned to staff — the Coworker drafts new ones and corrects the ones that stopped matching the job. It tracks what got done, and flags what didn't.
On every phone in the building
Install Humdine on a phone, a tablet, or a desktop — no app store, no download. Count inventory, receive a delivery, or talk to the Coworker out loud instead of typing.
Equipment & maintenance
Photograph the data plate and the Coworker reads the make, model, and serial — or hand it a dealer invoice and it writes the records. It finds the manufacturer's spec sheet, attaches it, and flags whatever is still missing the one your next inspection asks for. Repair history, warranties, and replacement cost stay on the record.
People & compliance
Payroll tracking
Record pay runs, tipouts, and pools as they happen — no spreadsheets. Bonuses, advances, and reimbursements paid straight to an employee live in the same place.
Documents
Leases, licenses, vendor contracts, food handler certs — plus every file attached to an invoice, a permit, or a piece of equipment. One searchable place, filtered by location, always with you.
Compliance
Health permits, insurance, and food handler expirations — tracked with reminders before they lapse. Each permit carries its own checklist and history, so a renewal gets worked in one place instead of chased through email.
English & Spanish
Your whole team can run Humdine in Spanish — procedures, chat with the Coworker, invoices, payroll, all of it. Switch anytime from your profile.
Connects to what you already use.
POS
Daily sales sync straight from your point-of-sale system.
Accounting
Keep your books in sync without double entry.
Others
Connect what else your restaurant runs on — more integrations on the way.
Frequently asked questions
How fast can I be up and running?
Most operators are live the same day. Import vendors, inventory, and employees from a spreadsheet, set up your checking account and connect your POS, and forward your first invoice. No migration project, no consultant.
How do I trust the AI Coworker with my money?
Every payment is held for a human to approve by default. As you build trust, you can let the Coworker handle routine payments and reorders on its own — but only inside limits you set: approval thresholds, per-vendor and per-category caps, allow/deny lists, and weekly and monthly spend ceilings. Anything outside your rules waits for you, you can pause it at any time, and anything it handled on its own stays undoable for 24 hours.
Can my managers handle the day-to-day without bothering me?
Yes. Four roles — owner, operator, manager, and staff — each with their own permissions, and managers and staff can be scoped to specific locations. Managers run the day-to-day: purchase orders, invoices, receiving, and counts. Money movement sits higher up — writing a check or recording a payment takes an operator, and operators stay inside the limit the owner sets. Your whole team can chat with the Coworker and pick up assigned tasks.
Is my restaurant's data safe?
Each organization's data is isolated at the database level, and every person only sees the locations they've been granted. Permission checks run on the server, not just in the screen you're looking at, so money never moves on a hidden button alone. Sign-ups are bot-protected, and activity logs are pruned automatically on a schedule rather than kept forever.
Does Humdine run payroll or calculate my taxes?
No — Humdine tracks what you've already paid: pay runs, tipouts, bonuses, and advances, logged per employee and location. It's the record-keeping and reporting layer, not a payroll processor. Run payroll with your existing provider, then log the results here to keep your whole back office in one place.
